Meet Team Abundance

Hi, I'm Allison Puryear (It rhymes with “career”—which feels appropriate, honestly.)

If you’ve been within 10 feet of me, you probably already know: I’m wildly passionate about helping therapists build full, sustainable, aligned private practices. Just as passionate as I am about helping therapy clients change their lives.

But I didn’t come into private practice effortlessly—or even confidently.

After nearly burning out in toxic agency jobs, I started a small part-time practice to remind myself that I didn’t actually hate therapy. When my family made a cross-country move to support my spouse’s career, I decided to go all in.

Armed with marketing books and whatever advice I could pull from other private practice therapists, I launched a full-time practice in a city where I knew no one — and was told the market was “totally saturated. There were moments of panic. Impostor syndrome. The familiar therapist fear of not being liked, not being good enough, or (gasp) being seen as a businessperson.

But I did what we encourage our clients to do: I felt the fear, I moved through it, and I showed up anyway.

Within 6 months, I was full. I made more in five months than I ever had working two agency jobs. And more importantly, I was doing meaningful work that didn’t break me.

After another cross-country move, this time with a toddler in tow, I built my third successful practice—again in a “saturated market.” Spoiler: it grew even faster than the last.

That’s when I realized: this isn’t magic. It’s a system.
When you have clarity, confidence, and a strategy that actually fits you, practice-building doesn’t have to be a struggle.

So I started Abundance Practice Building — to help other therapists do the same. Because when therapists reach their goals, change ripples out in every direction. And being part of that? It lights me up.

In the spirit of vulnerability (my favorite and most uncomfortable growth tool), I’ll say this clearly: Helping therapists build their practices is my calling. And I’m giddy to share it with you.

“Taking my practice full time is working & I am so deeply grateful to Allison & this group for showing it was possible & giving me such concrete tools, guidance, & inspiration… I know I would not be celebrating this win if I hadn’t found this group. Wishing abundance to you all.”

“When Allison released [her] eCourse, I immediately invested in it. Since then, I've found it to be an invaluable tool. Think of it like a Rolodex for private practice. If you're thinking about investing in it, please don't think twice about it. Allison truly over-delivers. And the time/money you save in having these templates and scripts right in front of you is so worth it. ”

Work with Us!

Haley Nicole Clement (She/Her)

Haley is our resident problem solver, and her fingerprints are all over this operation. She's your point of contact when you reach out via email or the HelpDesk, and she's also the person keeping our memberships running, our podcast produced, our newsletters out the door, and our launches going smoothly. She's the one keeping the wheels on this bus.

Haley manages everything from client communication and platform maintenance to podcast production, sponsor relationships, content scheduling, and sales page updates. She catches what we miss, keeps things accurate across every platform, and has an uncanny ability to predict exactly what questions we'll get from people before we get them. She keeps us less confusing, in general.

Haley deeply values respect, communication, timeliness, and boundaries — which makes her perfect for a job that requires all four at once, constantly.

Rebecca A. E. Smith, Ph.D. (She/Her)

Rebecca is the first person many of our students in Limitless Practice speak with. The first thing people notice about Rebecca is her energy— she's the most fun person to be around. She's great at helping therapists think bigger about their life & their practice. She's a master at assessing whether these programs are a good fit for each person she speaks to (& gives great referrals if not).

Rebecca joined our first cohort of Limitless Practice because she was exhausted in her insurance-based practice. She was seeing 35 clients/week & not making enough per session to work any less. She transformed her practice and now sees 22 clients/week and makes significantly more.

She has vacations now. She has down time. She wants to make sure you have access to the same.
